Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Fife is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. Getting around Fife is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Washington's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Went thru the car wash twice, still had to wash the back of my car at home. Not enough soap, not enough rinse and not enough blow drying - I’m going to Brown Bear, now they have real car wash, polite attendants, air fresheners, free glass cleaners and towels while you vacuum.

Overpriced car wash for the quality. It leaves spots of my 4Runner unwashed, especially the rear. And the vacuum area was full when I went, so I wasn’t able to take advantage of the free vacuuming. Low quality car wash and not worth the price.

I visited this carwash a few days ago and had a concerning encounter with an attendant. The employee, who was tasked with providing instructions, was unprofessional and aggressive. Instead of using verbal cues or hand signals to ask me to lower my window, he repeatedly struck my glass with a metal sign. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with his behavior, he twice told me, 'I’d be very careful,' in a threatening tone. While the car wash itself was mediocre, the staff's conduct was unacceptable. If you’re the owner and want to follow up, you’re welcome to reply.

Edit: Car wash reopened after a major overhaul! Expanded options on the menu, which does affect the pricing. I kept my monthly membership for $24 (I thought it was more) and was very pleased with the basic/Silver wash! Good value. I have a monthly pass for this car wash. ($30 or maybe $35 for unlimited washes.) It is right next to the Emerald Queen casino and is part of the Tahoma convenience store. I generally take my car in once a week. Super easy to use the automated purchasing kiosk. It scans my pass and in I go. The wash does a great job of getting my car clean. They have "disco lights" as you progress through the wash. It's fun. The staff has always been capable and polite in what has to be a tough job. Included is the use of a powerful vacuum for your carpets. Really good car wash!

This is by far the least expensive car wash ($12) in the area. Owed and operated by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. Easy in and Out, next to the Gas station which always has the least expensive gas, I’ve seen it .50c a gallon less! The food store inside has fresh fruits and vegetables and a good variety of other items. The Tribe does a really good job servicing Fife as this area is a food desert for any of the chain grocery stores. I think they opened up their own bigger „Amish” market nearby. The station is safe.
